Tanafem® consists of a blend of natural herbal tannates designed for fighting yeast, fungal and bacterial agents that infect the vagina. Tanafem® is available in a convenient jar, containing 15 individual treatments. Tanafem® is one of the gentlest and effective vaginal douche treatments available for Vaginal Candidiasis, yeast and bacterial infections. Tanafem® will only address infestations of the vaginal area, however, we have found that combining Tanalbit® with Tanafem® can help and may reduce the incidence of recurrent infections. This may be especially true if a gastrointestinal infestation of yeast is suspected.
Dissolve 1 scoop of Tanafem powder in eight ounces of lukewarm water. Pour solution into the douche applicator. Repeat process once a day for three days, using fresh solutions each time. Wait one day and then repeat 3 day course for a total of 7 days. Op

Warning: For douching only. Use only fresh solutions per treatment. Tanafem is NOT a contraceptive. Do not use during pregnancy, while nursing. If adverse reactions develop, discontinue use and consult physician. Tannins may interfere with the absorption/effectiveness of alkaline or steroidal medications. Avoid tannins when using Atropine, Cardec DM, Codeine, Ephedrine and Pseudoephedrine, Lomotil/Lonox, Loop Diuretics, Spironolactone, Theophylline/Aminophylli, Thiazide Diuretics, Triamterene. This is not an exhaustive list. Please consult your physician prior to adding Tanafem® to your daily regimen, especially if you are taking medication.
